This owl whose Latin name is (Sturnia ulula) typically lives in Scandinavia, though during the winter some individuals wander south in search of more prey and end up in countries like Estonia. Though in a cycle of about four years some pay a visit to Lithuania. This was the year of their invasion because in Estonia they have been spotted about 57 times compared to last year's 20 or so. Then a month later one of those individuals came to Lithuania. Yesterday we went to the location that he was living in and we couldn't find him( or her), but just as we were about to leave we spotted it sitting on electricity wires and sleeping. Here are the photos, hope you enjoy them. And as always suggestions are indeed welcome.
