Nature's Jewel Box: The Hidden Elegance of a Hummingbird's Nest

I have been checking on this nest for the last few weeks on the edge of Glacier National Park. I am still amazed at the noise reduction in Lightroom. I was only about 3’ away for this shot. Mom was very calm otherwise I would have backed off.

Thank you, mom was not on the nest when I first saw them a day or two after they hatched. They were not even the size of the end of my pinky finger. I had to carefully bend the branch back to peak inside. From what I understand the eggs are not much bigger than a coffee bean.
