Near Creede

Here are some photographs of North and South Clear Creek Falls and the country surrounding the falls. Creede is a small town in a somewhat out-of-the-way area of Colorado. Hope you enjoy them.

I used to live on the front range but would often take trips to Steamboat and would sometimes venture further to Creede and surrounding area, it is beautiful county and at the right time you can catch herds of 1000's of elk moving down from Wyoming. I love the framing of shot #3, it speaks to me

I like that one, too. It's the South Falls and it's a bit off the road but worth the hike. For perspective, here's one with some of the grandkids in front of the falls.

I don't think so. It's near San Luis and Lake City

That’s fantastic, love this shot too. And I just realized I got Creede mixed up with Craig I have been through Creede as well, been four wheeling from Ouray to Lake City, if I’d known there was a waterfall like this in Creede I would have sought it out.
