This was taken yesterday at Cane Ridge NWR in S. Indiana. I was expecting chicks but maybe not yet, I couldnt see any. I was able to catch some action though and had a good time.

Gene, superb images! Love your setup! That’s what I use, too. These guys are fascinating.
Thank you Bob, the 500pf with 1.4 is very sharp. I like that at 700mm. Only drawback is focus is a little sluggish with D850, I hear that the mirror less cameras can be much better at that at f8 etc. I would like to try that someday.
