Checked out Rouge Park (east end of Toronto) yesterday to try out the new 500 pf with 1.4 tc and was rewarded with a great location to go back and park myself for Kingfisher shots -- couple of submerged old tree branches rising above the water making for perfect perches with wide open lines of sight 
As I was stalking a Green Heron this Kingfisher came in and landed on this perch a couple of times and even dove into the water once, all before I was close enough to try for a shot, this one. So yes I'll be back AF wide (s) with animal detect engaged.
