Ouch!Love this video format, Steve. Thanks as always for your amazing 'content'. Also picked up the new book today. Gonna have to wait to jump into it, given my Z9 is off to Nikon after my idiocy of dropping it on a concrete floor.

Think the camera is relatively okay, maybe; some electronic wonkiness when trying to focus but not constant. However, the 500 pf and 1.4 tc are, ah, stuck together (and work so perhaps I've manufactured Nikon's new 700 5.6Ouch!
Hopefully it won't be too bad of a price tag then. Still.... I stand by my "Ouch!"Think the camera is relatively okay, maybe; some electronic wonkiness when trying to focus but not constant. Initial chat with Nikon without the product in hand garnered a "we'll have to cut the lens and tc apart; we'll pick the least expensive part to cut." LOL I'm thinking the electronic wonkiness I got when trying to focus (the evf showing all sorts of commands flashing on screen when I hit the focus button) is likely indication that contacts in the mount (either the camera itself or the ftz ii are affected as well -- that electronic stuff showing up later with a different lens than the one involved in the stupidity, er, accident. But thanks, I feel the support in your 'ouch.'Hopefully it won't be too bad of a price tag then. Still.... I stand by my "Ouch!"
