Well, I finally made the jump into the mirrorless world. Will still run with the D500, but Z8 is a best. Seems to be a learning curve for me bigger than expected esp with the focus tracking setup. But I believe I'm slowly dialing it in. Here's a few of the very first images right out the gate with it at work the past few mornings. We have a nice little area along the Elizabeth River and Nansemond River meet the James River in northern Suffolk, Va. There are all types of wildlife, turkey, deer, foxes, eagles. Since its work, I shoot from the van mostly. Anyway, tell me what you think and what seems to be the best setup for "action" BIF setup!.

Lovely images. For the trotting Stag, a higher shutter speed will do better. These are deceptively fast.

1600 would seem to be enough for any running mammal!
