What I notice about today's Adobe updates is that they will not install on older processors. They require a processor with Advanced Vector Extensions 2 support. I am guessing that is one of the requirements for Windows 11 support as well. My home machines are fine, but one of the machines I do a little LrC and Photoshop on at work will not run the updates.

The new AI-powered Adobe Adaptive Profile is available exclusively in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) as a public beta and has not yet been integrated into Lightroom Classic.
I have not found it very useful. See comments in next post by me below. An alternative starting point is a flat profile with Auto.

I should have been more precise. It seems to favor brightness and saturation often blowing out the whites. It also misses tonal balance. There is a warning not to use auto with it. What it does do is have a slider which can reduce these impacts. As a starting point it might be useful for some images for quick posting but I am guessing most wont' favor it for wildlife.
