Anyone out there have and use this Nikon prime? I have wanted one for a long time. There is a rebate on it presently, as there is an even better rebate on the Nikon 14-24 f/2.8. Am not a big fan of ultra wide primes....yet. Had a Nikon 20mm f/1.8 that went to the Pac NW for New Years, was not impressed with its performance on my D850 so sent it back. I do shoot some video with both a crop sensor and full frame Nikon and time lapse with the full frame so that is important too.

The 28/1.4E is my go-to hiking lens. I absolutely love it.
