Hi all! For anyone that is a current owner of the Nikon 500 FL ED VR lens, I have a quick question for you. I recently purchased a clean pre-owned version of this lens from Roberts Photography and I'm curious about the VR behavior.
Specifically, when in Sport or Normal VR I can feel the lens pulse or make a very light vibration (reminds me of haptic feedback but a bit lighter) when I actuate the shutter on my Z9. I do not get any of this when VR is switched off.
For comparison, I mounted up the 500 PF that I own and it does not reproduce this same feeling.
Thoughts from current owners of the lens? I'm going to mount it up on a F body soon just to test that as well.
