Since I am constrained in my photo subjects with COVID rules, I find myself using theZ6 and my new 70-200 f/2.8S along with a Canon 500D Closeup Lens for flower photography.
While not a true macro combination, I am trly impressed and with the zoom capability and overall lens performance, I find my 105mm f/2.8 Macro lens sitting in the camera bag.
Here are a couple of shots from this past weekend. All shots at 200mm plus the Closeup lens. All are full height square 16mp crops.
It is interesting just how shallow a depth of field you get with a closeup lens even at f/11=f/16. I am also practicing on focus stacking, but it was too windy this past weekend for that option. All shots processed in LrC with a little help in PS on the third shot.
This third shot is uncropped at 135mm with the Closeup lens and f/16. Still working on depth of field management. Again, too windy for foocus shift shooting.
