Nikon 800 pf locked Lens Hood

I was using my 800 pf in desert sand storm.

After the session my lens hood was stuck. I could not take it off.

After multiple tries back at home, i was able to take off using a small pin.

Has anyone seems similar experience with default hood.
Do you see same issue with zemlin hood?
