Nikon D850 will not focus at infinity on IRIX 15mm

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

I have an IRIX 15mmm f2.4 that works great on Nikon D750 when set at infinity (the IRIX has a special click that sets infinity focus). However, when I switch to the D850 at the same setting, the photo is blurry and definitely not in focus.
I'm looking for what I'm doing wrong. To me, it must be some setting I have wrong on the D850. I'm in manual mode and the IRIX lens is a manual lens. I have focus peaking turned off.
Any other ideas for why the D850 will not focus at infinity with this lens.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Brien

Hmm, isn't focus tuning for AUTO focus? And it is lens specific, so no carry over from other lenses.
Yes and no. If the OP is using the camera's af indicators to determine MF then any AFFT bias does come in to play. It may not be a factor with non-Nikon mf lenses as the camera may not recognise them. Lots of things in the menu can be changed by accident.......
