Nikon Z 6ii Manual Question

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

Does anyone have a Nikon email contact that I can ask a question about the PDF manual for the Z 6ii? The following is a case that I submitted to Nikon Support regarding the manual. I was told by Nikon Support that they could not help me and could not answer my question why.

A LOT of pdf manuals are like this! I don't think they want to take a chance on an edited version being released into the wild. I don't like it either but I don't see it changing.

Here is a possible work around. I am not sure if you have Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.

Print the PDF manual to a new PDF file, you can print only the pages you need. It might be possible to edit that copy of the file. If you have the pages you want to edit for your own use you can open the PDF file in Word and it will convert it.

I also have a series of Excel Spreadsheets that have the different settings for my D500 and Z6 that I want to remember to change when I am changing shooting environments. It is much easier to scroll through the spreadsheet. I think there is a place on the web where you can purchase these spreadsheets for a few dollars with suggested settings but you can always edit the spreadsheets for your needs.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have Acrobat which allows me to OCR the created PDF. I also have a screen capture program called Snagit that allows me to grab text from a screen. I like the spreadsheet idea.
