Nikon Z6 III L-bracket?

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

This may be on the early side given that deliveries only started today, but does anyone know of an L-bracket for the Z6 III? I know SmallRig came out with a cage but I'm looking for a traditional L-bracket for stills, ideally with a split in the left rear vertical bracket that provides room for the articulating screen when shooting horizontally.

Thanks,

Steve

Here is a similar design that I believe will ship to USA:

I just received my Topcine L Bracket referenced above. I ordered it through Ebay on Monday, Sept 9 and received it on Friday, Sept 20 (one day ahead of the earliest estimated delivery date). The design of this one (and the SmallRig one for my Z8) is much better for my large hands than the American made Kirk and RRS plates (even though I would spend more to buy American if theirs were similar). This one covers the entire bottom, with a hinged part over the battery compartment that swings open for access. The extension of it to the very end where the battery sits makes the camera taller (so-to-speak) and gives my right pinky a more comfortable spot to rest. The ones from Kirk and RRS abruptly end before the battery door, giving no extension for my pinky. If you have smaller hands you won't care, but for my large hands this is hugely helpful.

This was what I liked about the SmallRig bracket for the Z6. I removed the vertical portion and used just the baseplate. I am hoping to find SmallRig's Z6iii version of this design, but will keep the Topcine in mind if I cannot. I am assuming that the vertical portion removes like the SmallRig version?

I have a Kirk L bracket for my Z6iii. Made inquiry to Kirk early, so may have received a pre-production model? It fits perfectly and is usual excellent quality. A bit pricey, but I guess it’s what traffic will bear.

The new plate from Really Right Stuff appears to have adopted the design of the Chinese manufacturers with the base going all the way to the end over the battery compartment. This is unlike their plates for other cameras (and the Kirk Z6iii plate) which stop short of the battery compartment. One thing that is a bit odd, based on the photo, is that the RRS base seems to be wider than the bottom of the camera at the battery compartment, whereas Topcine and Smallrig appear to be flush. I would have to see it in real life to know for sure. https://reallyrightstuff.com/nikon-z6iii-plates/

Does this bracket allow full articulation of the screen?
