Depends on if the Z6 is meeting your needs or not and if it's not, where it's lacking.
I think the biggest improvement with the Z6ii - at least for me - is the more reliable AF. It's still not at D850 / D500 / D6 level for action, but for more static subjects it's at least as good as those cameras and possibly even better. It hunts less and accuracy is better than the first version. The increased buffer is also nice - I have yet to hit that buffer in the field, even shooting 14FPS! I also love that I can put a grip on the camera now and I know having two card slots is important to some.
However, if none of that matters, no reason to upgrade. If I were just shooting landscapes and macros, I would probably not get the MKii modes. However, for what I do they make sense. I'll have a video out talking about both new cameras eventually
Thank you Steve for your quick replay.
In general the Z6 meets my needs. I only have complsints about the AF performance. When I photograph (quick) moving objects, the AF fails sometimes. One card slot is not an issue for me, also the buffer is sufficient for me.
But the better is the biggest enemy of the good. The biggest problem I have is to convince my wife
I will wait for your video.
