A request for ideas team on how to protect the original ’skin’ on my Nikon Z8 camera.
I have just replaced the card door and the grip skin on my Nikon D500 in preparation for putting it up for sale. The ‘skin’ on the memory card door and the grip was severely worn and slippery due to a few years of handling with often ‘sweaty‘ hands and fingers.
I would prefer that I didn’t have to go through the same repairs with my Nikon Z8.
Any ideas as to how I can protect that part of the Z8 and the memory card doors from suffering the same fate?
See the red area in the image below. And of course the memory card door.
Thanks in advance team.
