I have the CFe slot as primary and the SD slot for overflow. After several hours of shooting, I want to see if the primary card is full and the photos are being saved to the SD card.

How do I chose which slot to view during playback?

Thanks in advance!

If you use the up on the d-pad during playback it will tell you C/X or SD in the lower right corner by the image number or above the date in the lower left depending on what info you are viewing. It could also be in the upper right corner by the image number. It just depends on what playback info you are using.

Thanks. I have just re-formatted all my cards as I am getting ready for another photo trip in January. I checked the Playback Display options and didn't see one that might trigger the C/X or SD display. I'll try to fire off a few shots in the next few days and see if I can find the C/X or SD notation.

It will show on almost any of the playback options that display information on the photo but it appears in different areas depending on what display information option you’re using. If you hit the overflow, when playing back it will change to SD when reviewing the last image. I’m not sure which one you are using to be more for more specific.

In the attached it’s in the upper right before the image number.

Thank you so very much. In Panama I was using a 325 GB CFe card and was shocked when I discussed the current images were going to the SD card. I had plenty of spare cards! I thought the camera might tell me the CFe card was full. NOPE. LOL!

It would be nice but there really isn’t much of a warning. I haven’t paid attention to it because I’ve only hit overflow once but I think the remaining images in the viewfinder are for the current card and don’t include the overflow.

Agreed. After several hours of shooting LOTS of hummingbirds in flight, I managed to exceed a 325 gb card. I sure had a lot of deleting to do after that session! LOL!
