Yes, a good solution for event style photography though I find using the back display button to engage an alternative af mode difficult. The button is fine to use as a toggle, but less facile to hold continuously and I find myself having to awkwardly torque my hand to keep it pressed. Perhaps others with different hand configurations might not experience this and the ability to map buttons for different functions is one of the benefits of these cameras.
