I see this as part of a set of photos. Like a story shot. I try looking in the boat to learn about the story to be conveyed. I don't think it would be considered a landscape....some may consider it a snap shot.

I think it is both a landscape and a image that tells a story, as for being a snapshot I disagree and find that comment insulting.
