Much more attractive in the profile view

Other than the green head the plumage is way different than when we see them up north. Either in transition to breeding plumage or a juvie?

Thanks NorthernFocus. I just read on All About Birds that the breeding males as they transition to breeding plumage can have course brown markings on the chest and flanks.
