Northern Goshawk on the North Kaibab National Forest in AZ. This was taken years ago, either with a very early Canon, or digiscoped using a Nikon point and shoot.
I worked on a demography study for Goshawks and I was sitting in a territory waiting for the male to come in so I could read his band with a spotting scope. She baby-sat
me to make sure I didn't do anything to the nestlings.

Thank you Yezdi. I agree totally on contrast, but this was a hard photo to edit. If I can find the original jpg, I'll give it a go. Think the camera was about 3 MP and it was shot in jpg. :)
