Cool video clip, I love this little bird. Just felt the shake is a bit distracting. This occurred over the course of ~3 hrs. or so. Z9, 400mm f/4.5 w/1.4tc, Rode VideoMic Go II, 4K, H265 10-bit, processed in Davinci Resolve Studio.

I discovered a location that has quite a few and I've been photographing them for the last two months or so. Before then, I had never seen one either. I think I've had more fun photographing them than any other animal. My goal is to find a nesting cavity and photograph some owlets as well. What a great video! I've never seen a pygmy owl. Loved hearing it's call. Beautiful accomplishment on your part.
Wow! Beautiful video! It is amazing to see this tiny owl got this meal! This occurred over the course of ~3 hrs. or so. Z9, 400mm f/4.5 w/1.4tc, Rode VideoMic Go II, 4K, H265 10-bit, processed in Davinci Resolve Studio.
