OK, I know snakes aren't everyone's "thing." However, these. beauties were sunning themselves and hunting all along the stream we hiked yesterday. I think the northern water snake is a beautiful creature.

I have no idea why the EXIF info didn't come through on the 2nd photo nor do I know what the little question mark in the blue box is.
Here is the pertinent info:
Nikon D500. Nikon 200-500. F6.3 300mm. 1/1000 sec. ISO 1000 no EV dialed in.
