I've got a trip coming up and I'm considering renting a Z 400 4.5, but remembered that I could just upgrade my NPS membership to the higher level and get utilize their loaner program, but I've never done such a thing before and was curious how that works.

If anyone has got a loaner from nikon I'd love to hear your experience - how long are you able to borrow, insurance requirements, general experience with the process, etc

One requirement is that you have to have your own UPS or FedEx account. When they ship it they charge shipping to your account. And of course insurance. If in the USA no love if you're outside the contiguous states. The details are on the website.
