October Sunset at Mortons

It was supposed to be sunset at Mortons overlook in the Smoky Mountains

but it had been raining and the fog and clouds seemed to be competing for the view. Everything was trying to break up a little about sunset time. I wondered if there was any color, it wasn"t apparent. I made a underexposed image and checked on the back of the camera. There was more going on than it looked like it was, especially after a little post-processing.

The warm light was natural, the sun was setting beyond the mountain on the left.
