Having told you the story about running around demented with an antiquated sigma 70-200 ,which struggled with the tracking AF system on D7100 in Cyprus for three days.
Here is the resulting image that made me very happy at the time. Bee eaters are extremely rare in the UK, I understand that some times they end up in the south of England .
I seem to remember reading that the experts think that as this part of the world warms up (God Help Us) they may start breeding here , so take cover you bees.
