One legged Hare

This little fellow was running down the track when suddenly noticing me it dived into cover. I had not noticed him until the last second, so i didn't have time to take a shot. I decided to take cover and sit low where I was and hope he might break cover again. After two or three minutes he did and started to head straight towards me.
I'm pretty sure that if he hadn't heard the camera shutter he would have run straight pass me.
