One Small Icicle

On February 4 northcentral Pennsylvania had a bit of an ice storm; schools were closed as was much else. When the storm ended our world was a-glisten and icicles hung from every twig and branch. I went out this morning to photograph some of those icicles a few of which were clear -- here's one:

Thank you all for the nice comments. This icicle was about an inch long and it certainly does look like a canine tooth -- or a sperm whale's. Most of the small icicles were opaque but there were a few that were as clear as this and had bubbles similar to those seen here.
