While it's true that more often than not Osprey are the victims of fish theft (by Bald Eagles and Great Black-backed gulls) on occasion they turn the tables and become the thief. This adult took notice that the cormerant had a large menhaden and was struggling to get it down and decided to try to grab an easy meal. In the end, neither won.
