This Osprey nest is on top of a bridge in NE Utah. I was able to get on a hill about 300-400 yards away and observe the nest for about two hours. The female never left the nest, presumably watching for potential flying predators. The chicks only poked their heads up when the male arrived with a fish (I missed that photo opportunity 😢).

Here the male is feeding bits of fish to one of the three chicks.

The female (slightly larger and mottled brown and white chest) stares at the male before presumably letting him know that they need more fish. Both adults have yellow eyes while the chicks' eyes are more brown colored.

The male leaves the nest in search of more fish while the chicks watch and learn. They chicks don't seem to have fledged at this point (photos were taken exactly one month ago today).

In this final photo, the rest of the family watches as 'dad' flies off in search of more fish.

Some nice shots and it sounds like you have a good vantage point from which to shoot this nest, my only suggestion would be to tone the exposure down a bit in an effort to cut down on the highlights. Hopefully you will take my comment as a helpful suggestion on my part.

Thanks for the comments and the suggestion. I agree, there are overexposed highlights especially on the white feathers.
