not sure what that is, could be a scar of some type. Osprey's eyes take a beating. I read somewhere that dying of "old age" for an Osprey means going blind and unable to spot fish.

I'm pleased to see that you made it over to BCL, and were able to get some photos of Ospreys.

I hope that the blemish is from an injury, and isn't the result of a virus.
