Osprey portrait

I visited my parents over the weekend on the CT coast and I was amazed at how close they are to so many good bird photography options, as far as Osprey, shorebirds, waders, etc. The treeline in front of my childhood neighborhood is at the top of the frame in this shot, and in the marsh in between there had to be 20+ Osprey, not to mention Clapper Rails and endangered Saltmarsh Sparrows, and so many others. I grabbed this shot on my way out. It was perched on somebody's personal dock. I'm not a huge fan of man-made perches but I think the subject and the pose more than makes up for it.
