Osprey Powering Out of the Water

Along the lines of a recent post about too much lens, this osprey dove within 30 feet of my location. I had my 500 EFL with a 1.4 tc so I had a little too much lens. This image is basically full frame with just some empty space at the left and right removed. The wings are out of the frame but the power these birds exhibit as they head back to the air is incredible. Sadly for the osprey, this was a miss but about 30 minutes later she scored a nice fat yellow perch full of roe.
