Oystercatcher - pictures from few days at our local beach

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

Hello,

I have had a chance to see an oystercatcher at our local beach. They do not breed or appear too often around my place. So that was a very pleasant surprise to me when a young one decided to stay for around two weeks at our closest beach. I have visited him both in the morning, when the sun rose at the sea, and in the evening, when the sun set behind a very steep cliff.

All of the pictures were resized to 2048, exported, and resized even further to 1600px by Flickr.

I hope you will like the pictures.

Wonderful series on the Oystercatcher, Michal. Your perspective is great, and execution is also great!

You've got the skills, and a good eye for a shot. Well done!

Beautiful set Michal! Well done👍👍👍

By far the best set of OC's I've ever seen. Low pov, colour, detail, composition all utterly brilliant. As for the use of the shallow dof. Awesome.
