A lone Pacific Gull was close to the foreshore this morning and leapt out of the water then diving in to catch what looks like a small lobster like crustacean.

The gull ate it quickly as a seagull spied the gull's catch and took to the air to hassle the gull but it was too late the catch had been swallowed.
