Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert in Arizona is an amazing place to see, absorb and capture "a few" images. The crystal structure and brilliant colors of the petrified trees and the layered colors of surrounding formations speak to the varied history and complex geological history in the area. The erosion process have created an varied, colorful and awe inspiring landscape. Here are a few shots from our recent visit.

Thank you. Last time I was there it was with a Minolta SRT SCII and film, so it has been a while! (about 40 years) Still gorgeous!
