Sunrise and an African Wild Dog from the Tamarind pack poses for me just before the start of a morning hunting session here in South Luangwa Nat Park.
Have recently returned from a month long trip to RSA & Zambia and was very fortunate to have some special sightings with one of my favourite predators during that wonderful transition from the Dry to Wet season and all the new life that it brings................more to come.

Def a wall hanger. They are my favorite also. We saw them in Botswana but on a rainy day. Looking forward to seeing more.

That dog is gorgeous and I feel you captured it in a very pleasing way. I have been to Botswana once but didn’t see any “painted dogs”. Maybe I will get lucky in the future. I appreciate your sharing this image. You must have been fairly close to it.

Thanks's, much appreciated @AlexK ,
the majority of Wild Dog in the Luangwa Valley are quite comfortable with vehicles and one can approach (whilst keeping on road of course) relatively easily,
here I was around 10M (30ft) away, allowing ample room to include his habitat.
