Pair of Hawks Visit Again an Egret Getting Morning Brunch and a Wise, Old Great Blue Heron

The two Hawks showed up in our back yard this morning and started "talking" and then they moved on. The Egret was fishing in Lake Mary in Hilton Head and the Heron had no thought of flying away even as I was within maybe 20'. He did seem to be annoyed though.

I like #3 best. Just a friendly tip. The VR works fine for when they're still but when there's movement you need to at least make your shutter speed double what your focal length is. 1/1250 would've worked much better for your action shots.

Thanks I panicked and didn't check the shutter speed or change it back after I had taken some pictures of some turtles. But your comment explains a lot of the frustration I had. Thanks again.

I can't count the times I forgot about previous settings; we all have done that. No biggie.
