On the road frm Estes Park to Nederlandi Colorado. The bright yellow colors of the aspens were already gone so we were looking at greens, greywss and browns. I thought this made IR/B&W a more interesting choice for this shot.
Nikon D600, 590nm IR conversion, Nikkor 24-120mm f/4 lens, 1/2000sec, f/8.0, ISO 1600
Two shot panorama processed in LrC, PS, Nik Suite Color Efex and Silver Efex.
I tend to shoot the IR to access greater grey tonality rather than for the false or altered colors. Sometimes it work and sometimes not so much. I do remembet the days when I could only afford B&W film so that was what I did. Maybe my nostalgia is peaking through.
