Yesterday I went out to test my 500mmPF with a 1.4II TC. I found a group of pelicans standing around near a fountain of water. and began shooting. When I got home I was happy that the lens/TC combo worked but disappointed with nothing more than a group of pelicans standing around. After looking a little more closely, I decided that the good shots were within the whole frame - their heads, so the 3 head shots are fairly tight crops.
