My Nikon Z 7II arrived today (three days earlier than expected delivery date) and Steve published his updated Secrets To The Nikon Autofocus System - Mirrorless Edition. Perfect timing for me, thanks Steve I will reread the ebook and I am sure will pick up some extra things I missed first time I read it.
I checked the shutter count on my new Z7 II, it was unused, i.e. not a returned item so I will be keeping it. It is a awkward to find the shutter count on Nikons, if you are interested in checking take a photo, open in Adobe Photoshop, go to File menu, select "File Info" scroll down to "Raw Data" in the search box enter ImageNumber and it will take you to the shutter count.
On the UK Nikon Z II launch Q&A session they indicated you could save settings on a Z 7 and import into a Z 7II. However, this does not work. Disappointed but not surprised as there are new menu items like Save focus position which is described in Steve's updated e-book.
