The AF speed takes a hit and its much more likely to search so I don't use it too often, but sometimes its nice to have.
That’s why I hesitate.
Very nice. 500pf with teleconverter works great with a static subject like the above, not so much BIF and small birds in trees. I love it for ducks on lakes.
