I spent some time yesterday morning with a pair of Pied-billed Grebes while they were fishing.

Lovely set of captures. I see these guys on Lake Michigan sometimes and they are fun to photograph, expecially when you can capture a dive and/or a catch.

No, they were taken from the bank of a local pond using my Skimmer Ground Pod in the prone position.
