There is a spot in a small vacation town where I know there are always pied kingfishers flying around in the mornings, so while on holiday this December I decided to wake up early on a few mornings and go to photograph these birds, after a while I started to notice patterns to how they lead their morning routines, so I took my position and just waited for the right moment.
