The original intention for this image started out a lot differently than the final one. I shot 10 frames with the 200mm f/2 ED IF AIS Nikkor @ f/2.8 so I could focus stack and get the two in front and one lily in the rear in sharp focus and let everything else in the background go soft. Unfortunately, as I was shooting a breeze came up and the blooms started moving around. When I stacked them in Zerene there were some terrible ghosts due to the movement so I scrapped that idea and just worked with the very first image. I am still very happy with it. The bokeh of this lens is amazing!
