[Midway]

Stopped at park on the lake near my house and saw some small waterfowl diving and am not familiar with them. A little internet searching hasn't helped. The lake is between Seattle and Tacoma if that helps. I also saw an American Wigeon swimming among hundreds of Mallards. Edit: I've been advised they are Pied-billed grebe's.

The first looks like a Pied Billed Grebe and the second a Green Winged Teal

Yeah you're right, they're similar with the green on the backs of their heads but the American Wigeon has that mottled gray on the front of their faces, good call.
