Anyone had issues uploading files (using a card reader) from a zz6 iii to a MacBook?? MacBook won't read the RAW file. No problems ever with any previous Nikon camera files.
If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).
that's what I kinda figured...thnx!If you look at the other topics that come up fairly often on this, you have to wait on apple to get an update out, or use software that reads the files.
May I ask what you mean when you say “MacBook won't read the RAW file.” I’ve had a Z6III since it was first available. No problem in getting RAW files on my MacBook Pro using my Delkin CFExpress card reader.Anyone had issues uploading files (using a card reader) from a zz6 iii to a MacBook?? Weird. Thanks for the reply...I believe my issue is with the latest MacOS (Sequoia). Was on the phone with apple support and it appears to be a problem they're working on. The files finally downloaded and then....all turned solid 18% grey...go figure??
Yea I got the same reply...thanks for the info!As @Cameron T and @JAJohnson proffered….operating systems are in catch-up mode when new cameras come on the market. Nearly a year ago Apple‘s latest O/S would not upload RAW files from my Nikon Zf… I called Apple Support and “whined” and……”we’re working on this” was the response… This was 8 months after the camera hit the market….. The technology involved in the computer’s inability to import ”new” design RAW files is not in my comprehension library. They’re all the same… right? Nope…. I waited…and waited…. then the gray squares turned to images……. Third party editing programs can work if you can’t wait for O/S updates…
I should have asked you...What version of MacOS are you using?Weird.
The latest version which I think is Sequoia 15.0.1.I should have asked you...What version of MacOS are you using?
