Looking for QR snaps to attach to a camera strap. What I DON’T want is something dangling off the camera when I remove the strap. Way back when they used to make these but I cannot find any. Thanks!

Lot of options but if you don’t want something dangling, the connection point would be at the bottom of the camera where the tripod plate thread is, not where the connection points are for the regular strap. If I correctly understand what you are saying?

I’m just looking for the snaps. I’m happy with the provided Nikon strap.
I understand. I am not familiar with something specifically designed for cameras but I would do a google search of “lanyard clips” and see what pops up. You can probably find something that would serve the purpose… You just need to ensure it’s durable/strong enough. Good luck!

Thanks. Looks like mini carabiners may be the answer.
In addition to the answers above you might look into small 'Lobster Clasps' also sometimes known as 'Parrot Clasps'. It's what Domke uses on their straps, they're easy to clasp or release and don't require anything other than the little triangular D-rings hanging from your camera.

They look something like these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Swivel-Lob...4121445a4:g:CtUAAOSwLPhdZuPf&var=522370771496
