Admittedly setting up and learning the Z8 has been a challenge for me. Finally thinking I had all my settings where I wanted them, I drove around our ranch looking for birds. Instead I found a dozen Queen butterflies on honey mesquite flowers. With my Z8 and D850 in tow, I starting clicking. Wind was blowing and the butterflies were flitting so it was not an easy shoot. Learned two things: 1) The Z8 is indeed finally set up the way I want. 2) While I still got great pictures with my D850, the Z8 made it so much easier to capture them. Not selling my D850 anytime soon but this outing solidified buying the Z8 was the right decision. Included pictures from both the Z8 and the D850.
